I have been cruising the web for some candy craft/gift ideas for Mother’s Day and I found a few favorites that I would like to share with you. (Plus I added a few of my own)
Candy Cup Cake.
I found this ides at bhg.com. They filled a sandwich bag with Jelly Beans for this cute candy filled cupcake project, but I think Gummies, Ghocolate gems or Sixlets would work great as well.
Decorated treat jar
Get out your scrap book supplies and decorate a mason jar or a recycled jelly jar. Fill it with candy and present it to Mom on here special day. Alternatively, you may fill a jar with decorative paper and create a candy bouquet like the Lollipop Bouquet shown below – cute!
Use the candy as decoration. Layering complimentary or contrasting candy in a jar candy make a stunning gift. No need to decorate these jars, the candy is the decoration. I used Sixlets and gumballs in the jars below.
You can use mini Plastic disposable cups with lids to make a fetching individual layered candy treats. In the image, I added a licorice candy to the cup so that the creation looks a little like a shake. This was inspired by this Jelly bean soda cup that Not just a mommy featured on her blog.
Candy Cone
This is a super simple way present candy treats. Simply roll some heavy duty paper into a cone shape, fill with candy. Add some embellishment to paper cone to make it more appealing. Check out the instructions here.
